In this week’s Torah portion, Jacob has a dream about angels ascending and descending a ladder that reached from heaven down to earth. It made a huge impression on him and has occupied the minds of many other people for thousands of years. Many years after the time of Jacob, Yeshua told his disciple, Nathanael, that he would see angels ascending and descending on the Son of Man.” How did he understand Jacob’s dream and then use it to explain how he is the bridge between God and man?
